In the studio
Every painting begins with a single colour and grows layer by layer. I add, scrape back and add again, with palette knives and brushes, until the surface holds the feeling I am looking for.
A glimpse of that process, from first layer to final texture.
ECHOES | Layers of Memory
ECHOES is a series shaped through layers of colour, texture and memory. As with the experiences we carry through life, some traces remain visible while others recede beneath the surface, quietly adding depth and shaping what comes after.
Each work is built, softened and revealed until these layers find their own balance.
Each Art Card is printed from an original painting in the series and supplied unframed. Whoever receives one can frame it with the message kept safely inside, as a lasting keepsake of the person who sent it.
