LINES - Originals

LINES reduces the landscape to its essence. After two years in Abu Dhabi, I moved to the English countryside and found an unexpected kinship between the profiles of desert dunes and its gentle, rolling hills.

These simple lines recall memories rather than places, calm and resilient even in their most vibrant colours. It is the series where my palette knife technique first took shape, and the root from which ECHOES grew.

LINES is about the horizons we carry with us: places change and distances grow, yet a single line can still hold the memory of where we have been.
