These Terms of Service apply to your use of laraspadettoart.shop and to purchases made through the website.
The website is operated by Lara Spadetto Art. References to “we”, “us” and “our” in these Terms refer to Lara Spadetto Art.
By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms together with our Privacy Policy, Refund & Returns Policy and any other policies referred to on the website.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
1. About the Website
Our online store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform used to display products, process orders and operate checkout.
We may update, modify or discontinue parts of the website from time to time.
2. Products
The website offers original artwork and fine art prints.
Products may include:
- original paintings;
- framed canvas prints;
- fine art paper prints;
- limited edition works; and
- commissioned artworks.
Product availability may change and original works are subject to prior sale.
We aim to provide accurate descriptions, dimensions and images for every artwork.
Because screens and devices reproduce colour differently, the appearance of an artwork or print on your screen may vary slightly from the physical piece.
Small variations may also occur in handmade original artworks and in print production where these are inherent to the materials or process.
3. Original Artwork
Original paintings are one-of-a-kind works unless expressly stated otherwise.
Once an original artwork has been sold, it will no longer be available for purchase as an original.
Where applicable, original artwork is supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity.
4. Fine Art Prints
Canvas and paper prints are reproductions produced from original artwork.
Product pages specify relevant information including size, material, framing and whether a print is an open or limited edition.
Canvas prints may be produced to order by a specialist fulfilment partner.
Where a paper print is described as a limited edition, the relevant edition and authentication information will be stated on the product page.
5. Commissions
A limited number of commissioned artworks may be accepted.
Commissions are created within the visual language of Lara Spadetto's existing artistic series. Details including dimensions, palette, price, timescale and any other agreed specifications will be confirmed before work begins.
Artwork genuinely created to a customer's individual specifications may have different cancellation and return rights from standard products. Details will be confirmed before a commission is accepted.
6. Prices and Payment
Prices are displayed in the currency shown on the website.
The total amount payable, including any applicable delivery charges and taxes collected at checkout, will be shown before you complete your order.
Payment must be completed using one of the payment methods available through Shopify checkout.
We may change prices for future purchases at any time. A price change will not affect an order that has already been accepted, except where an obvious pricing or technical error has occurred and applicable law permits the order to be corrected or cancelled.
7. Orders
When you place an order, you will receive an electronic acknowledgement.
An order is subject to availability and successful payment processing.
If we are unable to fulfil an order, for example because an original artwork has already been sold, a product has become unavailable or there has been a material pricing or listing error, we will contact you and refund any amount paid where appropriate.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders where reasonably necessary, including suspected fraud or misuse of the website.
8. Delivery
Delivery options and any applicable charges are shown at checkout or on the relevant product page.
Delivery times may vary according to product type, destination and fulfilment location.
Canvas prints may be produced and dispatched by a specialist fulfilment partner.
Complimentary Worldwide Delivery on eligible products applies only to the countries and products specified on the website.
Any delivery estimate is an estimate unless expressly agreed otherwise.
Tracking information will be provided where available.
9. International Orders
International customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping and contact information.
Depending on the destination and the way an order is fulfilled, local import duties, taxes or customs charges may apply unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout.
Any mandatory consumer rights applicable in the customer's country remain unaffected.
10. Cancellation, Returns and Refunds
Your rights to cancel and return eligible purchases are explained in our Refund & Returns Policy.
For eligible online purchases, customers may have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of receiving the goods.
Different rules may apply to commissioned or genuinely personalised artwork.
Nothing in these Terms limits your rights where goods are faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise fail to meet applicable consumer law requirements.
11. Damaged or Incorrect Orders
Please inspect your order when it arrives.
If an artwork or print arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, contact:

12. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, all artwork, photographs, text, designs, graphics and other original content displayed on this website remain the intellectual property of Lara Spadetto and/or their respective rights holders.
Purchasing an original artwork or print does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights.
Artwork and website content may not be reproduced, copied, commercially exploited, distributed or used to create derivative products without prior written permission.
13. Permitted Use of the Website
You may use the website for lawful personal purposes.
You must not knowingly:
- misuse or interfere with the operation or security of the website;
- attempt unauthorised access to the website or its systems;
- introduce malicious software or code;
- scrape or systematically copy website content for commercial purposes; or
- use our artwork, images or other intellectual property without permission.

The website may use or link to third-party services, including Shopify, payment providers, printing and fulfilment partners and delivery companies.
